Charity Catwalk & Black Tie Dinner in aid of the Turkey & Syria Earthquake Victims.

About the appeal.

A series of devastating earthquakes have hit southern Turkey and north-west Syria killing over 50,000 people and injuring many more. The first deadly earthquake struck while people were inside their homes, asleep in their beds, with no warning signs. More than 54,000 buildings, including hospitals and schools, have been destroyed or damaged.

Over 18 million people in the affected area, many of them in urgent need of shelter, food and medical aid.

Your help is desperately needed.

The Asian Wedding & Events industry has come together to hold a charity black tie dinner & catwalk under the title of Fashion 4 Hope.

Our aim.

The aim of this event is to raise as much money as possible through leading fashion brands taking part in the catwalk show and tables sold for the dinner. Leading service providers from the wedding industry have pledged their services for free, ranging from food, production, décor, event planning and catwalk models to ensure this event can raise the maximum amount of money possible. A charity auction will also be taking place with items donated by businesses from across the world.

It has been overwhelming that in a matter of a couple of days we have managed to secure most of the components to hold this event. We are asking everyone from our wonderful industry to get involved and help us raise as much money as possible for the survivors of the earthquake.

All funds raised will be sent through the Disasters Emergency Committee who are already at the forefront of the relief efforts on the ground in both Turkey and Syria.

£10 could provide blankets to keep two people warm
£25 could provide emergency food for a family for ten days
£50 could provide emergency shelter for two families

About the Event

The Charity Black Tie Dinner & Catwalk will take place at the prestigious 5 star JW Marriott Grosvenor House hotel on Park Lane London on Saturday 29th April 2023. The evening will consist of a dinner provided by leading event caterers Ragasaan and a catwalk show featuring some of the leading designers from across the UK.

The event will also consist of a charity and a silent auction to help us raise additional funds for the relief efforts.

There will be plenty of entertainment provided by some of the industries leading artists.

100% of the proceeds will be going towards the Disasters Emergency Committee relief fund. We wish to thank all of the suppliers who are participating in making this event possible:
